Meet Regenea

passionate, knowledgeable, and impactful culture change agent and builder dedicated to leading organizations to creating truly welcoming and inclusive environments in which all members can flourish.

Her tag phrase of “culture beyond compliance” embodies her belief that we need to understand that we will never truly become the organizations we aspire to be and serve the full population that we say we want to serve without building truly welcoming cultures in which all people feel they belong. Accordingly, we must stop checking off boxes to simply meet compliance requirements, and work towards true culture shift. Regenea provides individual and group training, coaching, and policy review and implementation to aid the organization in becoming a meaningfully welcoming environment.

Regenea has undertaken and been tapped for national, regional, and local leadership in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Civil Rights and has been a featured speaker for several schools, organizations, universities, and events including the Iowa Hunger Summit, National Urban Extension, the Extension Foundation, Leadership NOW, and XPRIZE.

Regenea earned her BA in psychology from Bowie State University, a historically Black university (HBCU) in Bowie, MD, her JD from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, TN and is also a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Regenea has cultivated a broad and diverse network of other justice, accessibility, inclusion, diversity, and equity (JABIDE) practitioners from around the country, with whom she collaborates to provide wrap around services for larger engagements.
